Step 1: Buy And Eat Your Pizza!
Save your pizza box and cut off the lid of the top. You can use both sides if the pizza had paper underneath it prevent excess grease from soaking up the box.
Step 2 : Fill The Box With Planting Material
Succulents love this perfect mixture to prevent excess water absorption
- 3 parts of Potting Soil (Coconut Coir works well too!)
- 2 parts Coarse Sand
- 1 part Perlite (Make sure you do not use Vermiculite, this retain moisture)
Step 3 : Mix Soil & Make Level
Step 4 : Get Your Succulent Babies
Lay your succulent cuttings/leafs on top of the soil. (These should be cut and set aside for at least 48 hours to ensure that they callus or scab over). Make sure you lightly spray them. The dirt should be damp, not be dripping wet. Keep them away from direct light or they will run the risk of burning.
Step 5: Watch and Wait
Remember to lightly spray them about 3 times a week. Anything else and your plant babies will drown and the roots will start to root. After 3 weeks has gone by then you should start seeing roots, then its time to plant your succulents cuttings.
