FAQs

Wood Products

  • My boards look different then your photos.
    • Due to the nature of wood products, all products are unique with different properties. You have a one-of-a-kind charcuterie board!
  • My charcuterie boards are starting to look ug-lyy.
    • After a few washes, your boards may start to lose the wax/oil finish. We recommend that boards be re-oiled every 6-12 months with an optional wax finish. We use Walrus Oil for all of our boards. We love using their oils since it is 100% Food-Safe and free of toxins and synthetics too. It will leave your cutting board with a silky smooth finish, rich color, and a little shine.

How to Maintain or Restore a Cutting Board.

Clean the charcuterie board first with some soap and lukewarm water, then allow plenty of time to dry. Remember, the boards should never be left to soak in the sink! If there are any deep knife marks, you can try sanding the board down. After sanding all surfaces simply apply a coat of our Cutting Board Oil and allow it to dry for 12 to 24 hours. Wipe away any excess oil after cure time. Finish with Cutting Board Food Wax for extra protection.

    • Help! My succulents/cactus are dying! What can I do to save them?
      • Succulents and cacti thrive in dry environments. A good rule of thumb is if the soil is dry, lightly spray them. If the soil is moist, DO NOT ADD ANYMORE WATER!!! They love bright sunlight but they can live indoors with enough light.
